SAFE-D offers an exclusive review of the 87th Legislature, along with the training you need to improve your ESD operations at its Fall Event Sept. 16-18 at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
The 2021 Fall Event will be a perfect lead-in to the 2022 Annual Conference at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Round Rock (just north of Austin). That's scheduled Feb. 17-19, 2022.
SAFE-D will apply to the V.G. Young Institute of County Government, part of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, to serve as the event's Educational Sponsor for purposes of continuing education and certify this training for up to 9 hours of ESD Commissioner Continuing Education.
HOTEL INFORMATION: While there is no official "host hotel", SAFE-D has reserved a block of rooms at three hotels, all within a short distance of the Convention Center. Hotel information can be found here.
Tentative schedule:
Pre-conference workshop: 2:00 PM, Thursday September 16th.
Meet-and-Greet: 6:00 PM, Thursday September 16th.
Conference Sessions: 8-4:30 PM, Friday September 17th (Lunch on your own at 12:15 PM.)
Conference Sessions: 8-Noon PM, Saturday September 18th.
Adjourn: Noon, Saturday September 18th.
Cost is only $345 for an ESD Commissioner or service provider associated with a SAFE-D member district and $495 for a nonmember ESD Commissioner/service provider. The Early Bird Discount (reduces the price to $295 for members and $455 for nonmembers) is available until August 19th, 2021. (NOW EXTENDED UNTIL SEPTEMBER 3rd, 2021).
Single day registration for Friday the 17th or Saturday the 18th are also individually available. Commercial representatives may register for the Conference for $955.
FULL registration includes Preconference Workshop, and 1 ticket each to Thursday's Meet & Greet. Lunch on Friday (the 17th) will be on your own.
