“COVID-19 Relief Access” – In this Part II of our webcasts, Cole Karr, Federal Advocacy Coordinator for the National Special Districts Coalition, sheds light on the recently announced guidelines that may open the The American Rescue Plan act pursestrings for Texas ESDs and other districts.
The ARP Act passed in March creates opportunities for special districts, such as Texas Emergency Services Districts, to receive funds to offset the impact of the international pandemic. Districts will need to follow the guidelines issued for distribution of billions of federal dollars.
Registration is only $20 for a SAFE-D or NAEFO member; $45 for nonmembers. Texas A&M's V.G. Young Institute of County Government has certified this training for one (1) hour of Texas ESD Commissioner Training Credit, and CEU certificates are available for an additional $5 fee.
